Hello, my name is Anna Wayne and I am a creative living in Glen Burnie, MD. I married the love of my life DJ Wayne in 2017 and we have been adventuring through all the different seasons of life while finding new places to call home ever since. We moved cross-country from LA back to our home state, Maryland at the beginning of 2018 and then to DC in 2019.

While the world was in Covid lockdown in Spring 2020 my husband and I were lucky enough to escape our teeny tiny DC basement apartment and move into his childhood home that happened to be vacant at just the right time. In June 2020 the brightest light of my life was born, Lily Birdie, and life hasn’t been the same since.

I hope to become nonfiction, personal essayist writer whose writing focuses on storytelling, life lessons, grace, and insights. I got to test out the nonfiction writing life when I was awarded the Kratz Writing Fellowship in 2016 and traveled to India to record my experience. Since then I have had some incredible opportunities and life-changing experiences which I hope to record and share here soon.
